Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and your choices.
Effective October 17, 2026
Who we are
CareMAR makes medication-record software for small residential care homes and runs training seminars on AI for care home offices. In this policy, “CareMAR,” “we,” and “us” mean CareMAR, and “you” means anyone who visits our website or contacts us. CareMAR is based in the United States.
What this policy covers
- Our website, caremar.us, the forms on it, and the emails we send, including emails to care home operators about CareMAR.
- It does not cover information that a care home enters into the CareMAR app, such as resident or staff records. That information belongs to the care home and is not collected through this website. If you are a resident or a family member, please contact the care home with questions about those records.
- It does not cover other companies’ websites and services, such as Facebook, Instagram, or an event ticketing site, even when our ads or links appear there. Their own privacy policies apply.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- When you request a demo or contact us: your name, email address, care home name, type of care home, number of residents, and your message.
- When you join the seminar waitlist: your name, email address, phone number if you give it, care home name, your role, your state, the format you prefer, and any notes.
- When you ask for our free guide: your first name, email address, care home name, and state.
- When you email us: your email address and whatever you choose to write.
Please do not include any resident’s health or personal information in a form or an email to us. We do not need it to answer you.
Information collected automatically
- Our website host and our cloud provider record basic technical information when you visit or send a form, such as your IP address, your browser type, the page requested, and the date and time. We use it to keep the site secure and working.
- When you send a form, we record which page and button you used, the page’s language, and any campaign tags in the web address you followed, such as a tag showing that the link came from a Facebook ad. This tells us which post or ad brought you to us. We do not use it to follow you on other websites.
Information from other sources
- We may collect business contact details for care homes from public sources, such as state licensing directories and the care home’s own website. The details can include a facility’s name, licensed address, phone number and email address, and the name of its licensee or administrator. We use them to tell care home operators about CareMAR.
How we use your information
- To answer your questions, arrange a demo, send the guide you asked for, and tell you about our seminars if you joined the waitlist.
- To run, protect, and improve our website, including stopping spam and abuse.
- To learn which of our posts and ads bring people to us.
- To contact care home operators about CareMAR, using business contact details.
- To keep business records, meet our legal duties, and protect our rights and the rights of others.
We do not add you to a marketing list because you asked for the guide or sent us a question. If you join the seminar waitlist, we will email you about our seminars.
How long we keep it
We keep the details you send us, such as a demo request, a guide request, or a waitlist sign-up, for as long as we need them to respond to you and to keep our business records. We delete them when you ask us to, unless we must keep them. Technical records, such as inquiry numbers and campaign tags in our server logs and the IP addresses our hosting providers record, are kept for security and troubleshooting.
How we protect it
Our website and forms use HTTPS, the padlock in your browser’s address bar, and we limit access to your information to the people and tools that need it to do their work. No way of sending or storing information is completely secure, so we cannot promise that it will never be lost or seen by someone it was not meant for.
Your choices and rights
- Emails and other contact: if you no longer want to hear from us by email, postcard or any other way, reply to a message or write to hello@caremar.us, and we will stop within 10 business days. We keep your email or mailing address and the date of your request on a do-not-contact list so that we do not contact you again. We may still reply to messages you send us.
- Our email service may record whether an email we send you was opened or a link in it was clicked.
- Access, correction, and deletion: you can ask what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@caremar.us. We will confirm that the request comes from you, usually by replying to the email address we have for you, and we will answer within 45 days. If we cannot delete something, such as a backup or a record we must keep for legal reasons, we will tell you why. We will not penalize you for asking.
- If you disagree with our answer, reply and ask us to look again, and we will review it.
- California residents: California law lets you ask whether we share personal information with other companies for their direct marketing. We do not.
- Residents of California and other states with privacy laws may have more rights under those laws. Email us, and we will honor them where they apply.
Children
Our website is meant for care home owners, administrators, and staff. It is not meant for children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, email hello@caremar.us and we will delete it.
Where your information is processed
Our website is meant for people in the United States. We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and in other countries where they operate.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date. If a change is significant, we will also put a short note at the top of this page saying what changed.
